Device connection notification
Can the orbi app tell me when a device connects to the network without having Armor?

Re: Device connection notification
My Orbi app does not notify when a device connects. I do not see anything in "Settings" to enable notifications.
Would be really annoying. Our smart phone connect every time we come home. Tablets and laptops every time we turn them on.
Perhaps the question was "never seen before device connects". The web interface has a feature in Access Control to either Allow or Block all new devices. The notification in this case would be from someone in the family, "Hey. Why won't my **** connect to the WiFi???"

The only way I know to achieve that is with the Netgear desktop genie, software for Windows and Macs that can pop up a notification.
You can also manage "Guest" and some other settings with the desktop "app" for your operating system. This can be quicker and easier than diving into the browser graphical user interface (GUI).
Netgear is trying to kill this useful utility, but for the time being you can find it here:

Be warned that the genie installation file is wrapped up in a RAR archive that you have to decompress.
