I can't log into 192.168.1.1 and I have orbi pro SXR80
I need your help ASAP please.
My internet was working fine and this morning it stopped. I called my internet provider and they detected it's Netgear Orbi issues. I'm still on hold with netgear for more than 2 hours and no one is picking up the phone.
I have orbi pro SXR80 and I tried to go to the website 192.168.1.1 so my internet provider can help configure what's wrong. I've tried many times even plugging the ethernet cable from modem to my laptop but that website is not working. I also tried orbilogin.com but it says this connection is not private.
Do you know how to get this fixed pls? Thank you

It's a connection you establish on your very own network, so choose Advanced and then accept the security exception. No need to call Netgear - don't become a slave to the always raising expectations. Much more infrastructure and effort would be required to get a valid certificate - and definitively none for a generic or universal DNS name. Certificate policies do no longer allow to distribute private keys at will of the industry or us users.
Yes, I'm yet another user: So I have to point you to the fine documentation - Orbi Pro WiFi 6 AX6000 Tri-band WiFi System (SXK80) User Manual on p.33 "What to do if you get a browser security warning".

Yeah, the "proceed" option is before the ERR_SSL_KEY_USAGE_INCOMPATIBLE error message.

Say thank you browser makers for pushing forward faster than the industry can follow 8-/
Check this in case you are using Google Chrome: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi-Pro-WiFi-for-Small-Business/Chrome-Certificate/m-p/2352915/hig...

Nothing I can do for you except of pushing Netgear again to create and distribute new self-signed certificates ... as I wrote in the post referred above. Not deep enough in the Chromebook world anymore, suspect a similar workaround might be possible. Say thank you to Google for pushing forward much to fast ....
You might have to go with the Chrome Beta and take controls of the extperimental features https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/10612145?hl=en

Hello @twinklestar711,
This is already an ongoing issue and there is a patch firmware that fixes this. Please download the beta firmware on the link provided below and load it to your router and satellite. You can use a firefox browser to login to your GUI and load the firmware provided. After loading the firmware, make sure to perform a full factory default on the router and test if you can use Chrome or Edge after.
Satellite - https://ntgr.my.salesforce.com/sfc/p/300000000xsV/a/8b0000016WpK/Nk0fCSwTq8ndt3QrZnhLDk09qDZPcRY6xLB...
Take note to update the satellite firmware first before the router.
Have a lovely day,
Rene D
