My 2.4GHz appliance cannot be connected after chaging to RBR750
Hi all
I upgraded my router from R7000 to RBR750. Afterwards, all my appliance cannot be connected even though I already set exactly the same SSID and password as R7000. I would like to know if there is any solution to solve my problem. Thanks in advance.

Some devices also remember the base station’s MAC address so for such devices it’s not enough that you used the same SSID and password. Try to connect those to the Orbi’s wifi again.

Re: My 2.4GHz appliance cannot be connected after chaging to RBR750
HI cw007_hk,
I understand that you are having compatibility issues with your RBR750 and your 2.4 GHz band IoT devices.
- Go to orbilogin.com in a web browser to access the Orbi admin site, Advanced tab, and Advanced / Wireless Settings. Set CTS/RTS Threshold to 2347 for both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands.
- Next, Navigate to the Advanced tab, Setup / Wireless Setup, and uncheck AX Mode for the 2.4Ghz band (only).
- Then add the devices to your RBR750 manually.
Please let me know if this information was helpful!!
Best,
Kevin
