You can try this:

So I was contacted by support and gave them some debug logs (contacted on 8/20). I also gave them some more over the weekend. Based on our conversation, they are still collecting data to troubleshoot the issue. I am also very fustrated that these expensive routers can be crippled by a non-voluntary firmware update (also complained about this to them). I come from an embedded software background (been doing it for over decade). I offered to speak with one of their software engineers directly to help troubleshoot the issue engineer to engineer.
Since this is such a widespread issue, I do wish that officals from NG could post on this forum updates weekly (sticky thread). I have a Rachio sprinkler controller and the Homekit was buggy due to a firmware update. They are posting updates (even if there is nothing to report) for some communication to their customers. I would implor NG to do the same.
So I am noticing although I have disabled the AX features, my RBS750 still disconnects once a day (blue light and devices disappear). The network is definitely not stable. I was looking over the posts about a DHCP issue but not understanding how it applies to me with a Netgear modem from Comcast to RBR750. I do have my DHCP giving out IP address from 192.168.1.X to 192.168.1.Y so I can assign static IP addresses after 192.168.1.Y.

Re: New - RBK752/753 Firmware Version 4.6.3.7 Released
I agree and asked them about this.
Can't presume to know what developers are doing.
No router mfrs announces when new FW is forth coming.

FW fixes don't happen over night.
But removing the current broken version so that people don't get the broken update pushed onto them or simply not advertising the broken version seems like the sensible thing to do.
Since they haven't done that you have to conclude they aren't taking the complaints seriously or simply don't believe the problems are serious since the developers obviously never use the routers themselves.
So when will there be an update to help with this ... one year ... two ...

Re: New - RBK752/753 Firmware Version 4.6.3.7 Released
So I downgraded by RBR750 and RBS750 to V3.2.18.1_1.4.14. I wanted to start completely fresh without using backups.
These were the steps I took:
1. Download latest v3 of the RBR750 and RBS750 firmware
2. Disconnect the WAN from the RBR750 (disconnect internet)
3. Downgrade the firmware to the RBS750 using two wired connections (desktop to RBR750 and RBR750 to RBS750)
4. Downgrade the firmware to the RBR750 using that HTML trick on the firmware update page [AWESOME BY THE WAY!]
5. Performed a factory reset on the RBR750 using the web menu and performed a hard factory reset (via reset button) on the RBS750
6. Setup the RBR750 and blocked the following services
- explore.netgear.com
- downloadcenter.netgear.com <- used during the firmware update page
- http.fw.updates1.netgear.com
- updates1.netgear.com
- devcom.up.netgear.com <- used during the firmware update page
- netgear-devrecog.fing.io <- used during the firmware update page
- netgearup-dev.s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com <- used during router booting process
7. Setup my LAN, custom DHCP address reservations, and custom DNS server (AdguardHome)
8. Reconnected the WAN (enabled internet)
From my testing the router was still trying to contact the update servers even with the "block sites" in the blocked list. The router logs also did not indicate any block sites being well...blocked. Since I am using a custom DNS solution, my service blocked those domains listed above which resulted on the firmware update page of "Service unreachable". The blocked sites option is not a way of blocking updates. The non-custom DNS solution would be to flash V3.2.10.10 to have access to Telnet to the router and disable updates through setting variables in the nvram.
I am finally on the previous version of the firmware.

Re: New - RBK752/753 Firmware Version 4.6.3.7 Released
1. Wireless Setup - Enable AX checked
2. LAN setup - I changed my router’s IP address to 192.168.1.100
3. LAN setup - DHCP range from 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.254
4. Advanced - Wireless Settings - unchecked “20/40 mhz coexistence”
- Enable WMM for 2.4 and 5ghz both checked
- CTS/RTS threshold to 2347 for both 2.4 and 5g
- Transmit power for 2.4g to 25% and 5g to 100%
That’s pretty much it. I did change the SSID to “test” so nothing could connect to the router and satellite while I was setting everything up. Everything else was on default. After everything was setup, I rebooted the router and satellite, then changed the SSID back to the old name so all the wireless devices could connect. Everything has been rock solid for me, no disconnects and the speeds are fast. Good luck!

Good to hear that is working back on V3.
Thanks for letting us know.

Re: New - RBK752/753 Firmware Version 4.6.3.7 Released
Thanks for letting us know about this and what you configured.
Keep an eye on this for next few days and let us know how the system works. Hoping this will bring stability to your system.
Curious about changing the router IP to .100. I presume this maybe something you normally do or was this a trobleshooting idea? I normally use .0.1 for the router and .100 to .150 for DHCP IP address pool since I don't have more than 40 devices anyways.

Re: New - RBK752/753 Firmware Version 4.6.3.7 Released
I spent another 2-3 hours chatting with support last night becuase I still have 1 device (Samsung TV) that will not be given an IP appress to connect to the interent. I have 4 other Samsung TV's in the house that connect just fine so not sure why this one is not connecting. I confirmed that I can easily connect the TV via a hotspot on my phone. Last night I followed the guidance and factory reset and started over. The TV connected just fine once that reset took place. The satellite remained off and not connected during this process. Once I plugged in the satellite and the TV switched connection from the router to the satellite the TV lost internet connection and continues to not connect at all. Any ideas why this would be persisting still? They were of no help last night.

Re: New - RBK752/753 Firmware Version 4.6.3.7 Released
Do the other TVs connect to this RBS?
Are all TVs same brand and model#?
If so, be sure FW updates on the TV are the same.
Has this TV worked before on prior version of Orbi FW?

I take it you put a DHCP reservation in for 192.168.1.100 then?

You can't use a reservation for 1.100 if it's the router IP address. Next available reservation would be .101.

Re: New - RBK752/753 Firmware Version 4.6.3.7 Released
Sorry , I'm confused, can you walk me through what you did here? My connection to my sattalites have been HORRIBLE and constantly dropping.
I have Verizon FIOS and an ONT. My Orbi has always been 192.168.1.1 and all the devices 192.168.1.X
What did you changed that fixed it?
Thank you!

Specifically, my use router as DHCP server is checked and the range is 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.254
It seems like you changed your settings to what I already have and mine does not work. Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you changed ?
Thank you!

Re: New - RBK752/753 Firmware Version 4.6.3.7 Released
The user only changed the IP address of the RBR from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.100. I don't believe this will be impacting whats happening. However you might change the following as listed as well here:
"4. Advanced - Wireless Settings - unchecked “20/40 mhz coexistence”
- Enable WMM for 2.4 and 5ghz both checked
- CTS/RTS threshold to 2347 for both 2.4 and 5g
- Transmit power for 2.4g to 25% and 5g to 100%"

Re: New - RBK752/753 Firmware Version 4.6.3.7 Released
Thank you I will try this.
I'm beyond unhappy with Netgear. Shouldn't take a month of people complaining to fix this. They should offer a way to downgrade in the meantime.
I'm on the verge of returning these to Costco and going with another solution.

Re: New - RBK752/753 Firmware Version 4.6.3.7 Released
Sorry please be specific ... so the range you use is
192.168.1.100 to 192.168.1.252? (ie that is the range that the Orbi can assign)?
Or you reduced the range to
192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.100?
Or you made the router's address 1.192.168.1.1
Thank you

From what I gather, "I changed my router’s IP address to 192.168.1.100" from what the user said.

Re: New - RBK752/753 Firmware Version 4.6.3.7 Released
Thanks. I made all the changes including chaning my IP address to .100
If this doesn't get fixed soon, my next change will be returning this POS Netgear product to Costco and getting something more stable. Beyond furious that Netgear would push this and then not have a way to downgrade without being forced to auto update. If they know there is a problem, they should put out a temporary fix. Eveyrone is working from home and having your network crash 5x a day in the middle of zoom calls is NOT acceptable for a $400 router. I get that things go wrong. All companies have these issues. Not providing a temporary fix OR allowing for a rollback (or an auto rollback) - well, I guess the lawyers can figure that one out.

Also, I like how when I go to manage devices in the Orbi app, I’m forced to set up the stupid family service. My legal service is looking into this.

Do you have a screen capture of this "family service"?
Something I've not seen with mine...
Did you try the downgrade method that one user found to work yet?

Had you had this before or is this the first time?
Yes SPC was activated after v4 FW came out. I presume if you activate the trial again, it should not appear again?
