ORBI AX6000 Fast download, Slow upload

Speed Test from Orbi Admin Panel: 932.7Mbps Download; 939.48Mbps Upload

Speed Test from Macbook Air M1 (wireless): 738Mbps Download; 163Mbps Upload

For some reason my upload speeds over WiFi are not at all close to my download speed. Any one else having a slow upload speed?

Any thoughts or suggestions are welcomed!

What connect rate speed is the mac book air connecting at with the RBR. I'd turn OFF the RBS temporarily to ensure the mac book connects to the RBR. Use the Opt key + Right Click on the wifi icon on the top tool bar on OSX to see additional information and the connection rate.

You should see near 1300Mbps or over. What the highest connection rate supported by Apple for this Mac Book? My 2018 supports 1300Mpbs. I usually see around 700Mpbs speed results.

Interesting...my download speeds are great (700+mbps) but upload cannot seem to break 200mbps.

I checked my phones as well, 600+mbps download, ~150mbps upload.

I'm not sure what else to try...maybe it is a bug in the firmware?

Are wired speeds good on the up? 

Is WMM enabled under Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

What are the current CTS values?

Yes, WMM is enabled and on wired my upload is 800+mbps.

What OSX version are you using on the Mac Book? 

You can try setting CTS to 2307 and see.

Try disabling AX mode on the RBR and test...

CTS change did not make much of a difference.

The M1 Mac has AX capability.

Would be a good test to see if there is any differences between AX mode enabled or disabled...

with AX mode, your connection rates should be at least 1300Mpbs...however check Apples web site or support pages to see what they support for connection rates on that model book for AX and AC modes. AC mode you should see 1300Mpbs at least at the RBR.
