Orbi RBK852 Disconnecting Everyday
Recently every early morning around 0600 the Orbi loses internet connection. I am running Century Link Fiber 1GBPS running from a ONT to the Orbi.
Rebooting the Orbi works and then the internet connects again, however this is cumbersome and also annoying. My cameras disconnect and won’t record during this time, anyone had this before and or know of a solution?

Re: Orbi RBK852 Disconnecting Everyday
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Try disabling the following and see:
Armor
Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Set CTS to 2347. Set Short preamble instead of Long preamble modes. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s). Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

Re: Orbi RBK852 Disconnecting Everyday
What happens if you power OFF the ONT for 30 seconds then back ON, leave the RBR left ON during the ONT power cycle?

Re: Orbi RBK852 Disconnecting Everyday
So the RBR comes back to ready with the ONT power cycled and not having to power cycle the RBR?

Re: Orbi RBK852 Disconnecting Everyday
Ok is the RBR using mostly default settings after you set it up from scratch?
Armor, SPC or Traffic meter should be disabled.
You can see if enabling IPv6 changes anything however It may not.

Re: Orbi RBK852 Disconnecting Everyday
Ok. Wondering if this is playing a roll as well.
Keep an eye on the router IP address/Debug.htm page and the system uptime section. Make a note of this now.
Take note if any front LED behaviors seen when you notice the RBR looses connection.
