I am having a struggle here trying to set up my home network and create 3 VLANS on my Orbi rb750 system. My current setup:
Internet >> Netgear Modem >> Orbi Router >> TP Link Managed Switch >> patch panel >> drops throughout the house
I log into the Orbi GUI and when I go under the LAN Setup, I see others documented online that there should be separate tabs at the top for the VLANs you can have (I presume there should be 3 given there are that many ports on the back). I have also saw online that only the Orbi Pro versions can set these VLANs up.
Any thoughts/guidance/help would be much appreciated.
Vlans on consumer gear is more for setting up iptv service or for certain isp's that need a certain vlan tag. They're not the same as using for pro-gear that you can segment out the network.
Current setup: CM2000-> RBE973S-> Trendnet TEG-S380-> GS716T-> pi-hole also in AP setup: RAXE500->EAX80 1.4gig download/100mbps upload from Xfinity We’re members of the public helping out on our own time.
