Constant DNS issues (RBK852-100NAS firmware V3.2.18.1_1.4.14)
I recently replaced my router with an Orbi mesh system. Since then I have constant problems with DNS being broken and it takes multiple times for DNS to work. This appears to be a long standing well known issue with the Orbi that requires the ability to access the system directly via telnet. However everything I've tried so far has not allowed me to enable telnet access so I can fix dnsmasq. Is there any current working advice on how I can enable direct access to the Orbi so I can deal with this issue that Netgear has failed to fix for years? Thanks.

Ok, apparently this is fixed in the latest 4.x firmware, will test upgrading to it and cross my fingers.

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Orbi AX product. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Orbi AX and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this "general Orbi" forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Thank you.
