Invalid Serial Number

Trying to register my brand new Orbi after set up and I get Invalid Serial Number when logging in. If it makes a difference the Orbi was purchased from brick and mortar AT&T store.  

Model: RBR50|Orbi AC3000 Tri-band WiFi Router

Orbi 770 Series
