Re: Please kindly help with placement of RBK50
No. To some degree however your RBS should help maintain overall signal coverage. AT most you'll loose signal outside the home is all. 50% sill has good coverage at that setting.

Re: Please kindly help with placement of RBK50
My 5 GHZ speeds are 250-300 MB.
Yet, the 2.4 GHZ speeds in the part of the house furthest away from the router are only 15-20 MB.
I have set both powere transmissions to 50%. Also, tried channels 1,6,11 Didn't make much difference between the channels.
What can I do to improve these low 2.4 GHZ speeds?

Re: Please kindly help with placement of RBK50
2.4Ghz speeds will not be near what you get on 5Ghz. Also device design and support on 2.Ghz will be a factor as well. 1x1 and 2x2 antenna design will be a factor. 4x4 antenna designs have better speed support.

My ping is rather high, it is in a 13-17 range.
Is there a way to decrease the ping?

Is that a wired or wireless result? How are you testing pings?

These are wireless results.
I use two diffrent Android apps. Speedtest and NetSpot to measure ping.

Re: Please kindly help with placement of RBK50
Pings are about normal. Can be anything between the speedtest site thru up to your wireless device. I recommend wired testing vs wireless. To many variables in wireless for accurate results.
