RBR 50 Streaming Isssues
RBR50 | |
Firmware Version | V2.5.2.4 |
Sound repeatedly cuts in and out watching Netflix; Router port directly connected to Samsung 1080 tv. with 5 patch cable. Previous advice to run speedtest from Orbi app during streaming to enable automatic QOS settings is inneffective. Current Xfinity speedtest is 262 mpbs download, upload is 22.66 with ping < 1 ms. 1 Laptop, 1 desktop, 2 android tablets, and 4 echo devices are all on but inactive...only current streaming device is Samsung tv. Suggestions?? Thank you. |

Re: RBR 50 Streaming Isssues
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using CAT6 LAN cable.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

Try updating to v40:
Or downgrading to v16:
Factory reset and setup from scatch after applying either FW version.
