SATELITE OR EXTENDER RBS50Y

I want to set up my new ORBI RBS50Y outdoor to reach out to my garage

Skall I set it up as an extender or a satelite, both ways are possible, What is the most effective?

If you have a host Orbi router wifi system RBK20/40/50 series to connect the RBSY to, then set Orbi mode. 

If your host wifi system is not Orbi based, then you'll need to use extender mode.
