I just finished setting up a new Orbi RBK 853 network. I have the router and two satellites covering ~ 1200sf ina condo. I realize this may seem like overkill but keep in mind that my condo has all metal studs and I have more than fifty devices in my home automation to cover.
I took great care to document my implementation. During the setup new Firmware was suggested and I installed it. I changed the Router name and login password, created a new WiFi network with a strong password, etc. Many hours later after getting all of my home automation up and running I tried to login via Safari on my MacBook http://http://orbilogin.com and I inputted username of admin and my new password and it was rejeccted. After trying two more time I was asked to reset the Router. After entering the Serial Number and answering my two challenge questions I clicked "Next". Absolutely nothing happened. I repeated all of this several times inclusing trying to reset the password before I tried using Chrome as the browser and I had the same end result...nothing. I tried on my iPhone, same results. I tried via a browser to login at 192.168.1.1 but the browser wouldn't move. All along my network speed was great. Wired via Ethernet I receive 940 Mbps / 40 Mbps which was standard in my home with the previous Linksys network but the WiFi speeds were at least doubled at 615 Mbps / 37 Mbps - my point being that Internet acccess was never an issue.
So I'm asking, has anyione experienced this login issue? If my only recourse leaves me with having to re-enter the WiFi name and password for over fifty devices I'll take this back. Am I missing anything here? Advice please???
One last thing, One of my satellites shows as Offline and through the iPhone app it is displayed in Purple. The Satellite is literally in the next room about twenty feet away.
