bricked RBR50
Hi all.
I have a RBR50 which up until recently was working ok but now seems to be bricked.
I also have an RBS50 satellite and an RBS0Y Outdoor - both of which appear to go through their boot sequences (lights) just right.
The current status of the RBR50 however is:
- the top ring is not lit at all
- the Power LED is hard green
- no amount of power cycling changes the LED status
- have factory reset (paper clip 30 seconds )
- the Wireless is down
- the wired / ethernet ports are also dead
I cant get any PC or Mac to bring up the ethernet port
I have changed CAT 5 cables
I have swapped the RBR50 power supply with the RBS50
I cannot get to the TFTP to upload a new firmware file, cause I cant connect to any of the ethernet ports. Nor will a mobile see the wifi network.
The only indicator that it is powered up is the green power LED - there are no other indicators to signify that its doing 'something'.
It seems to be dead - Is there anything that I have missed?
thanks in advance.

Re: bricked RBR50
If you do the "30-30-30", what happens to the Power LED?
(press paperclip for 30 seconds - a LONG time...
continue to hold paperclip and press power button to OFF
continue to hold for 30 seconds - getting really tired of this
press power button back on,and
continue to hold for 30 seconds
Does the Power LED ever blnk amber?

Re: bricked RBR50
Thanks CrinmpOn for the reply.
I just tried the 30-30-30 and still no cigar..
At NO time did the LED ever go amber. Only "off" when I switched it off whilst holding down the Reset and then back on, but it just goes instantly green, not even a momentary amber or red..
