Orbi Hard wired connections drop

I have been having issues with this for months now.  Everything will run fine for a while but then all my wired devices stop functioning.  All my Wireless devices are fine.  I set all my wired devices to reserved IP address.  This is making this system extremely unreliable.  Does anyone else experience this?  I am waiting for the new firmware push to fix the app being broken/management interface being gone.  For how much this system is it does not function very well.  I have an RBR750 and two satellites.

Re: Orbi Hard wired connections drop

What Orbi model do you have?

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

What wired devices do you have connected?

Does this happen if you don't set a IP address reservation?

Is Armor, SPC, or Traffic Meter enabled?

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update? A complete pull of the power adapters for a period of time after the factory reset then walk thru the setup wizard and setup from scratch.

Re: Orbi Hard wired connections drop

RBR750 2 Satellites are RB750s

Latest version I can't get into my app or my web UI until I get the patch update that fixes that issue.

I have ATT service BGW320-500

My router connects to the ATT service.  The Orbi does the DHCP and all wireless.  Basically just use the ATT equipment as a modem.

Wired devices are my Orbi Satalites, PS5, Sony tv, Switch, gaming PC, Stereo system, VOIP system, Philips Hue Light controller, and Polisy smart home controler.

Armor is enabled and so was the traffic meter.

I am trying avoiding factory reset due to how some of my home automation stuff works.  If I change the IPS it can cause me some issues.

Re: Orbi Hard wired connections drop

Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop

I would try option #2 first...

Try disabling Armor and Traffic Meter to see if anything changes as well...

Re: Orbi Hard wired connections drop

The att device is in passthrough mode. All the wifi is also disabled on it.
