Getting error 404 on some websites
Hi,
I use a Netgear Nighthawk M1 connected to the ATT network. I use it as a stand-alone hotspot when I travel and at my home connected by Ethernet to my Orbi system. It was working perfectly at my house in bridge mode. We took it on a trip and I reset it so that we could use the wifi and that worked well also.
We are now home and I have put it back in bridge mode (assuming I did that correctly?). I have internet again throughout the house, but I'm nw getting error 404 when trying to access many websites. I have setup the nighthawk several times, rebooted the Orbi, and tried different start sequences with the same result.

This is an indication that you have multiple routers in the network (Orbi in Router Mode and the Nighthawk). Seems that the Nighthawk is not correctly bridged and is still acting as a router.
- After a reset, the M1 shows 13 connections (router mode) but only shows 1 when put into bridge mode. Wouldn’t this indicate that it went into bridge mode?
1. Just to confirm, can you please open a Command Prompt on any computer attached to Orbi and type:
> tracert 8.8.8.8 (or traceroute 8.8.8.8 if you're using a Mac computer)
What will be the first two hops?
2. What is the setting of the DNS configuration in Orbi? This issue can very well be caused by the DNS configuration. Try different settings (e.g. try 8.8.8.8 as DNS) and see if things improve.

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.

There is too many private IP addressed hops between the RBR and your ISP service. Why your having issues getting to web site resources. Need a public IP address ##.##.###.### at the WAN port of the RBR if possible.
Need to make sure the M1 is fully bridged.
