Bought a second hand RBR50 from eBay, currently it wont boot correctly, attached a USB > Serial adapter and it intermitently will boot up but a lot of the time it will stop at this stage in the boot process

If it does get past that stage (not all the time) it will display the following
## Booting kernel from FIT Image at 84000000 ... Reading on here it seems to be a known issue with a firmware upgrade, I have attempted to re-flash the firmware however this never resolves the error. Is this router bricked now or is it possible it can be recovered?
On a side note, when its powered on the power light stays solid green (never changes, even when doing the 30-30-30) and the ring lights sometimes flash white.

Re: RBR50 Wont Boot
If it won't boot, it is defective. If it was represented as "working", then return it for a refund. If it was advertised, "parts only" or some such thing, you're screwed.

Re: RBR50 Wont Boot
Thanks, I had looked at them already, but seems to confirm that this is more a hardware issue than a software issue , I did buy it as parts only, hoping it could be fixed, but wasn't the most expensive so at least I have learnt a bit along the way.
