RBR50
My RBR50 is setup as a router using FiOS and when connecting to my laptop via ethernet cable directly from my Verizon router it's on average an 880 mbps connection, accoring to speedtest.net. When I connect from my Orbi to my laptop via ethernet cable or Wifi it's an 92 mbps connection. I tried switching to AP mode and the connection speed is actually slower. Is there a reason my Orbi is so much slower than a direct connecton from my FiOS router? I'm not sure if I'm missing something or just don't know that it should be slower.

Re: RBR50
Could you please look at the Orbi web interface, the Advanced Tab Home Page, and click on "Show Statistics".
What does it show for the connection rate for the WAN port and the LAN port that the laptop is connect to?

Re: RBR50
This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop
