GS308E Refusing Connection while on VPN
While I am on my network at home I can access the web management page for my switch with no problem at all. Everything works as expected. However, when I am connecting via VPN (OpenVPN) I can reach everything but this switch - which actively refuses the connection (see below). I'm using the same browser on the same laptop to attempt the connection.
The only thing I've been able to figure is that it is refusing because my laptop is on the VPN's subnet instead of the LAN's subnet. I've looked for anything in the management page to be able to adjust this, but cannot find anything. Can anyone shed any light on it for me?
Here again, the very basic IP stack on the micro controller is not able to handle smaller MTU than the default, these switches don't understand PMTUD. Similar, most of these Plus switches don't support a management VLAN for handling tagged management traffic, too.
