GS724Tv4 Disable HTTP Admin Access Required

Greetings,

We are deploying severl of these Netgear GS724Tv4 switches (if we can figure this out) to end point remote offices, but we need to disable HTTP access for security and compliance. I have HTTPS working but there are no exceptions at all for HTTP access to these switches due to security risks. I do not see an option to disable HTTP exception through ACL. If I can through ACL, how can I specifiy ranges to block HTTP?

Any help would be appriciated.

Thanks,

Dave

    dharmgolf,

    Welcome to the community!

To disable HTTP Admin Access on your GS724Tv4, please set the timeout fields to 0.

For your reference, kindly check page 188 of the user manual here.

Please let us know if you encounter any issues.

        Hi dharmgolf,

If that's the case, you can try using Access Rule Configuration which is located on Security > Access.

You'll need to create an Access Profile first before setting a rule where you deny http on your local network.

Please refer to page 185 of the same user manual for more information.

        Regards,
