How do I block Multicast traffic on a single port on a GS716Tv3
I have a switch with several devices connected all in the same VLan (1 default). All connections are in the same subnet. But one device cannot handle the incoming multicast traffic on the switch. All other deives need to see the multicast traffic. Also all deivces have to be able to talk to each other.
Is there a way to block multicast traffic on one particular port while retaining the rest of the connectivity between the devices?
i am not very familiar with switch configurations so If someone knows and can provide the exact steps to set this up that would be very helpful.

Hi DStone2022,
Welcome to our community! :)
There is no option for the GS716Tv3 to block multicast traffic on a single port and retain the rest as active. But you can do this by setting up a MAC-based ACL.
I'll send you a private message.

John
