Problems to connect with Switch JGS524PE
Hi,
In the house we bought, we found an already installed home network including Netgear JGS524PE. I am now trying to access the switch with my computer.
For this I have downloaded the NETGEAR Switch Discovery Tool. The software also identifies the switch, but then I can not access the 'admin page' via the IP address (timeout issue).
The problem seems to be that the network is running under the IP address space 192.168.2.x, but the switch has the IP address 192.168.0.239 according to the discovery tool.
That seems strange to me. Does anyone have any ideas about this?
Thanks a lot!

Temporarily change the computer LAN or WiFi adapter config to a static address in the 192.168.0.0/24 subnet, like 192.168.0.123 mask 255.255.255.0 default gateway .1, DNS .1. Untick a "test config after applying" or the like. Once re-gained access to the switch (e.g. following a factory default), don't forget to change the adapter back to DHCP.

Thanks, simple solution :), but it worked. Can now connect to the Switch.
