VLANs on switch connected back to another switch
Having a bit of an issue getting a particular VLAN config working on my Netgear Switches.
Main Switch is a JGS516PE- it has 4 VLANs configured; 1 – Admin, 2 – Home, 3 – Untrusted IoT, 99- Blocked.
I have managed to get these working for all devices plugged in to the switch, and for a WAP plugged in to the switch.
The WAP is untagged on VLAN1, and tagged on VLAN2, VLAN3 and VLAN99.. This works.
Now in one room, I don't have enough wired ports, so have added a second switch – a GS305E. I would like this device to be able to be managed on VLAN1, and able to connect devices on VLAN2, 3 and 99. However, doing the same tagging as the WAP doesn't work – and I don't know enough about networking to troubleshoot.
At the moment, the main switch has the port connected to the mini-switch as: VLAN1 – T, VLAN2 – T, VLAN3 – T, VLAN 99 – T. PVID – 1.
On the mini-switch, which can be connected to, and managed on VLAN1 as expected, have port 3 configured as U, but the device can't seem to see the network.
(Router is an ER-X, which is connected to the JGS516PE. This is what the network we want )
Can anyone help?

Re: VLANs on switch connected back to another switch
Configure all ports required for connecting the switches and the AP in the same way, making up a "trunk", the same was you have configured the ports for connecting the AP and the router. For simplicity, keep the VLAN 1 untagged (with PVID 1), too - this makes perfect sense for these Plus switches.
