POS and Camera integration

my client has a restaurant. I want to integrate the Aloha Point of Sale system into the Exacqvision camera system to see sales embedded in the video of each POS station. The NCR POS system puts out ASCII commands via LAN. It has its own LAN as does the Camera system. Do I use VLans from two switches (JGS524E) or do I need a router capable of handling?

Thanks

Richard

    Rickness12,

    Welcome to the community! :cathappy:

You can implement VLANs on the JGS524E switches as well as use a VLAN-capable router.

It would be best if you can post a detailed diagram of the current network setup and another detailed diagram of the network setup you want to achieve.  In this way, other community members who are familiar with the Aloha Point of Sale System can comment their suggestions.
