Attaching power line 1000 to router
I can’t attach one of my power line adaptors to my router as the plug is too close to the floor. Is there any alternatives? Extension lead, adaptor, anything?

Re: Attaching power line 1000 to router
I don't see how the position of the plug matters, it is the LAN cable that connects the plug to the router.
If you do need to move the plug, an extension cable will work as long as it is a "dumb" cable that does not try to protect you from lightning strikes or power surges. (They can modify the mains signal.) Netgear advises against extension cables but I have used them with no apparent hit on the speed.
