I purchased the Powerline 1200 kit to replace Zyxel adapters which stopped communicating with one another. I am using these strictly for wireless connectivity from my router (in one room) to my Audio/Video Receiver (in another room). My home Theater technician who recommended I buy these said when I got them in, they should be plug & play with no install involved. So I plugged both in & on the one closest to my router, all lights are green, but on the one in the other room closest to my a/v receiver, the middle (ethernet light) is not lit at all. What can this indicate? Obviously it's not seeing connectivity, but I checked my ethernet plug going into my receiver & all is well. So what other reasons can exist for this?

Well, I figured it out. Turns out that I had the internal internet settings on my A/V Receiver set for "wireless."So I figured that since I'm using adapters, this would likely be considered "wired." So I changed the internal setting on my receiver to show "wired" & that fixed the problem. Now all (3) lights on each adapter are all green. The only opther thing I had to change was the IP address setting in my receiver. But Once those were done, all was good in the world!
