PLW1000 Existing WiFI
I just installed my PLW1000. Do I no longer use the exisiting wifi I already had? Is there a way to merge them? Or do I transfer all devices to the new Netgear wifi and use that one only?

It is up to you. If the PLW1000 does all you need, then just us that. Many people use two or more wifi sources to give them better coverage.

Again, it is your call.
You can give your wifi networks that same SSID and passwords to make life easier for wifi clients. But bin those circumstances some wifi clients could get confused and lock on to one source when they are actually nearer one with a better signal.
There is a manual for the device somewhere at the end of this link:

You'll have to dig out the instructions for your other kit.
