Readynas remote app on iPad: no photo upload
I'm able to access my NAS via the remote app on my iPad and download content from it to my iPad. However uploading doesn't seem to work. When selecting the local files tab I see no link to my local photo albums. I have the same app on my iPhone and on that it works.
One possible reason for it is that Apple changed its policy for access to the local photo collection. I know apps need to ask permission for location information (and that's related to access to photos). If they don't these apps are not allowed to get access to them. Readynas remote does not aks permission and so it might be denied.
That said I don't understand the difference of the apps on iPhone and iPad as the app is universal. Has anyone a clue how to fix this and allow me to upload photos to the NAS from an iPad?
Thanks!
Jeffrey

- lwillertonAspirantCome on guys the first post was on the 1st of May and no-one has bothered to respond from Hp. This is a key function for iPad users. Are you going to update the iPad app?
- chirpaLuminaryThere will be an update to address this. It was there in the beginning, but had to be removed due to Apple's review process flagging stuff.
- lwillertonAspirantNice one thanks for letting us know.
