Subsonic no Video Streaming
Hi,
I just installed subsonic 4.7.beta3 (build 3060) – August 2, 2012 on my readynas ultra. music streaming working perfectly, video won't stream in any format, error message is:
"video not found or access denied..."
the log shows a couple of errors, no idea which one, if any, is the culprit:
[11/5/12 8:16:10 PM EST] DEBUG InputStreamReaderThread (/c/webroot/subsonic/transcode/ffmpeg) FFmpeg version UNKNOWN, Copyright (c) 2000-2010 Fabrice Bellard, et al.

- look for the ffmpeg addon
also, I had a problem where I had to edit one of the presets to work, faily simple if you have root access - cvernon1AspirantThanks for the tip TeknoJnky. I successfully installed the latest FFmeg add-on, but I am still getting the same error message.
Which pre-set did you need to edit to make it work?
Thanks, - pkasTutorI had the same problem, but here's how I fixed it:
1) Go the Settings tab of your Subsonic server
2) Click the Transcoding link
3) For the video setting, carefully change "ffmpeg" to "/usr/local/bin/ffmpeg" (leave the rest of the command the same).
I think there are two ffmpegs installed, and it turns out that the one in /usr/local/bin supports the -preset option; the other one does not.
Good luck!
pkas - xsspeed03AspirantThank you pkas. You saved my day once again.
