extplorer: invalid checksum

I'm trying to install extplorer. First of all, its post appears to have been updated to version 2.01, but the linked bin is version 1.2. When I try to install that, I get an invalid checksum error.

  • Are you downloading for the correct platform (i.e. sparc-based version for Duo, NV+, etc.)?

This is the sparc-based version (for NV+, Duo, 1100, X6/600):

This is the x86-based version (for Pro, NVX, 2100 & 3200)

If you are using the correct version, try rebooting the NAS and then re-installing.

As for the version numbers, I'm not sure about that.
  • Ah...now I got it installed--thanks!

However, I can't log in. The docs say it's admin/password--that doesn't work. Neither do my actual logins.

I think they're both admin (i.e. username: admin password: admin).

What was the original problem? Did you just have to reboot or were you using the wrong version of add-on?
  • Got the plugin working and logged in.

Is there a way to view files on volumes? I can't figure out how. All I can see appear to be ReadyNAS admin files.
  • You should be able to. I don't use the add-on, but you may just need to navigate up the directory tree to get out of the admin's home folder. All shares should be off the C volume.

  • There's no C volume showing up for me. All folders pretty much contain html files which appear to coincide with ReadyNAS admin pages. I've clicked everything and can't figure out how to view actual volumes. Gotta be a way...
  • I got stuck on this too. You have to click the user button and edit the Home directory. If you put in '/' it will map to the root, etc.
