Purchasing Advice: GIT/Redmine/GitLab/VPN/dnsmasq
Hi,
I have never bought/used a NAS before and thus would have some questions regarding the model choice and whether it is possible to use a NAS for my scenario at all.
Also, I am a student and thus would require the cheapest HW that does the job properly. Because of that, I would like to buy the ReadyNAS 102, but I have no idea whether
it is capable of running the services I require in a performant fashion.
My scenario:
The server is a home server which has to be able to deal with 2 concurrent connections at most.
I would like to run the following services on the NAS (on top of the regular file sharing):
Is it possible to run these service on a ReadyNAS 102 at all? And with decent performance?
I currently use a 7year old laptop with ubuntu server for these services, but i have no idea how arm processors perform.
If a ReadyNAS 102 should not be capable of running this setup, which model is capable of doing so?
Thanks for reading.

- GIT: Is the ReadyNAS performant enough to run GIT over SSH (encryption+compression) for regular source code (< 1MB per file)?
Is it possible to assign a swap partition which is located on the HDD? (For larger files, otherwise GIT will "break" the repo after commiting a large file). - DNS server: dnsmasq (or a similar small scale "dns server" ) should run on it for the local subnet.
- Web Services: I would like to run Redmine and GITLab on the NAS.
- VPN: Since my router has no options for a VPN, I would like to run a VPN server on the NAS.
- ddclient: To connect to DynDNS or similar
