iMac drops connection to Readynas device
I have 3 readynas devices connected via ethernet to a switch. My iMac is connected to the switch as well. The iMac sees all 3 readynas devices in finder. When I open finder and navigate to a .m4v v...

I used to have bunch of problems with CIFS/SMB, and changed to AFP. I now only have AFP and HTTPS enabled in "Services", and have a small AppleScript to mount the shares on my OSX desktop. Every shares has the following in the script;
mount volume "afp://BMK-rnp (AFP)._afpovertcp._tcp.local/Data"
Data is the share name.
This is working absolutely fantastic; it is fast, I never have hang-ups, and I have been through all the FWs the latest two years, as well as all updates on OSX (also works on ML).
