iSCSI multiple Win 7 hosts

Hi

For performance I want to shared an iSCSI LUN between two windows 7 host machines

I have setup the LUN on the NAS Pro and enabled access control
I have entered the IQN address from the Microsoft iSCSI imitator from both hosts but still they don't both see the same formatted volume.....

Surley this is the same as two VMWare hosts in a cluster sharing the LUN as a data store etc....

Thanks for your help.

The clustered vmware hosts can share the lun because they're aware of eachother and the services used to handle the clustering manage access to the LUN. The same occurs in a clustered windows server environment. However windows 7 machines cannot be clustered. Having multiple clients unaware of eachother writing to the same block level device(the LUN in this instance) usually results in data corruption.
