Differences between Netgear Prosafe GS108T(v2) and Netgear Smart Managed Pro GS308T
I would like to know the differences between switches "Netgear Prosafe GS108T(v2)" and "Netgear Smart Managed Pro GS308T". In theory the second one should be better than the first one (the higher code in the name) but their specifications seems to be very similar (https://www.netgear.it/business/products/switches/smart/GS108Tv2.aspx#tab-specifichetecniche , https://www.netgear.it/business/products/switches/smart/GS308T.aspx#tab-specifichetecniche ). Anyway Netgear Prosafe GS108T(v2) has a price higher than Netgear Smart Managed Pro GS308T (see Amazon for example): so I suppose that there is a reson for this at a technical level. Isn't it?

The GS108Tv2 (and the recently released GS108Tv3) are supporting IEEE 802.3af standard for Power over Ethernet
(PoE) - it can obtain its power from either a PoE source or from an external AC power adapter.
