I just moved and am trying to start up my Stora. The Stora seems to start up and both HDD's lights are continuous green (not flashing). Via my laptop I cannot get access to any data on my stora. Via web I can connect to the Stora, but get the message that there are no disk loaded/recognized, while there are 2 disks loaded.
Have already done the self diagnostics tool and the hard reset, without any result. Not know what to try now and all the family pictures from the last 8 years are on these drives.. So really hope they are not all lost.
Does anyone have any suggestion on how to retrieve the data?
In my Stora I have 2x2T hitachi drives, in RAID configuration.
I highly recommend directly connecting one of the HDD to a computer and backup all the data. Once you have successfully backed up the data, format both drives using a computer then have them reinstalled on the Stora and setup your RAID 1 configuration. You can then transfer all the data back to the Stora.
