Setting up FTP using FileZilla

Hi all,
Need a little help. I have a premium subscription and have managed to setup a standard FTP connection, but when I follow the instructions to create a secure connection I get the following messages:

Status: Initializing TLS...
Error: GnuTLS error -12: A TLS fatal alert has been received.
Error: Could not connect to server
Status: Waiting to retry...
Status: Delaying connection for 1 second due to previously failed connection attempt...
Status: Resolving address of Sandhurst51.mystora.com
Status: Connecting to 94.168.56.11:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Response: 220 (vsFTPd 2.0.7)
Command: AUTH TLS
Response: 234 Proceed with negotiation.
Status: Initializing TLS...

Has anyone had this issue?

There's an issue with FileZilla v. 3.5.3. They changed a handshake protocol cipher strength requirement or something of that nature. Try an older version.

Thanks Robyb, I have rolled it back. I did find a answer on the Filezilla site but it required me to add lines to the vsftpd's log which I was unsure about.

With 3.5.2 FTPES works.
The cipher the stora uses is insecure.
It should be changed to a stronger one, or newer versions of filezilla will not work with the stora and FTPES.
Is this possible, roby ?

FileZilla v. 3.5.3. is working for me and always has. Im using the default settings. :confused:

Default settings is not the same as FTP over TLS.
