A7000 USB no longer works with OS Catalina

While traveling I plugged my A7000 (which I use for travel due to weak hotel connections) into my Macbook Air and it appears that it is no longer supported -- no Netgear driver that is online works with Mac OC Catalina v 10.15.2

Is anyone awarre of a solution or has Netgear just decided not to support the product (less than 2 years old) for Mac OS?
