Netgear GS116 only 3 ports out of 16 working
After purchasing my Netgear GS116 I conencted it to my router and then connected some more ports. It turns out that out of the 16 ports only three of them are working (the first three from the left). That is one port connecting to my router and only two connectingto my other devices. That leaves 13 ports not operational. I have tried different combinatios of connecting but it all comes down to only those three specific ports giving a connection (and led lights). All other ports keep on giving blank 9also no leds).
I there a solution for this?

Re: Netgear GS116 only 3 ports out of 16 working
Welcome to the community! 🙂
This is a hardware fault on your GS116 switch. It needs to be replaced. Kindly open a support ticket with NETGEAR Support here at anytime. Be sure to upload a soft copy of the Proof of Purchase or Sales Invoice of your GS116 switch for warranty verification. If its hardware warranty is still valid, an online replacement will follow.
