Advice on files crashing ReadyDLNA scan

Hi

Could you advise why these files would cause the ReadyDLNA scan to fail? I discovered that it was these ones by going through the log files and using the command to move the offending directory and then restart the scan to find the next one. Info about the the files is from MediaInfo.

Thanks.

I'm not sure if these are the reasons, but they could be...

File 1 -> exceeds BluRay level for video (level is 5.0, BluRay is 4.1. 1080p with 5 reference frames is the reason it exceeds the BluRay spec.
File 2-> DTS-MA might not be recognized.
File 3-> uses MKV header compression

File 3 is the easiest to fix, you can remux with mkvmerge and turn off header compression. That will not change the quality at all, since there is no transcoding.
  • Thanks.

    1. Re-encoded with 4.1 profile
    2. Header compression and tons of sub titles removed.
    3. As 2.

    All works.
