      Further finding:

      - Under Baikal /apps folder there is no populated database

There is actually a Baika database here:

      /var/lib/mysql/baika/
      root@NAS-01:/var/lib/mysql/baika

      drwx------ 1 mysql mysql 414 Feb 1 14:32 .
      drwx------ 1 mysql mysql 180 May 27 13:20 ..
      -rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 8748 Feb 1 14:32 addressbooks.frm
      -rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 8924 Feb 1 14:32 calendarobjects.frm
      -rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 8968 Feb 1 14:32 calendars.frm
      -rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 8716 Feb 1 14:32 cards.frm
      -rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 65 Feb 1 14:32 db.opt
      -rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 8642 Feb 1 14:32 groupmembers.frm
      -rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 0 Feb 1 14:32 groupmembers.MYD
      -rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 1024 Feb 1 14:32 groupmembers.MYI
      -rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 12880 Feb 1 14:32 locks.frm
      -rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 0 Feb 1 14:32 locks.MYD
      -rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 4096 Feb 1 14:32 locks.MYI
      -rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 8698 Feb 1 14:32 principals.frm
      -rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 56 Feb 1 22:11 principals.MYD
      -rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 8192 Feb 2 00:44 principals.MYI
      -rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 8632 Feb 1 14:32 users.frm
      -rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 48 Feb 1 22:11 users.MYD
      -rw-rw---- 1 mysql mysql 3072 Feb 2 00:44 users.MYI

But, as you see, size is ridiculous compared to my data and time stamp shows it is not updated

Running "find" command at the root recursively for words such as "*baika*" or "*saber*" gives nothing useful

Under the config of the app from GUI, the path is

      /var/lib/mysql/baika

      However, it is not used

Googling has no answer to this question too

I really want to be able to backup the database

  • This command seems to work:

    mysqldump baika > '/volume_name/share_name/BaikalDump.sql'
