Difficulty using double-click and shift-click in OS6 admin console shares tab

I've got a strange problem and I'm wondering what I can try to resolve it.

I have two computers, both running windows 10, both running chrome, using the same user profile, connected to the admin console of my netgear RNDU600+ running OS6.

on one computer, in the shares section of the admin console, I can double-click in the details display to open a share, and I can shift-click to multi-select. yay.

on the other computer, double-click just opens the OS6 context menu, while shift-click just selects the new item and unselects the original item.

Any idea how I can use mutli-select and shift-click on both computers. Any configuration changes I should look at?

Also, realized one is touch-screen enabled, though I'm not using it I'm using a mouse. Perhaps that is related. However double-click and ctrl-click / shift-click work fine in windows explorer.
