Router is in the living room and the ReadyNAS is in a spare room up stairs and are joined by the TP link Powerline adaptors.
in my laptop is plugged in to another power line it can pick it up but if i make it wireless it cant find it

The fact that the NAS can't connect to the ReadyCLOUD server is a problem only if you intend to use ReadyCLOUD. Otherwise, it doesn't really matter. If you can access the NAS locally, it means its IP address is OK. I can think of three reasons why the NAS can't connect to ReafyCLOUD:
1. Incorrect or missing default gateway on the NAS (if static IP).
2. Incorrect or missing DNS server on the NAS.
3. Filtering firewall.
