Expansion Problem
Good Day
I have an ultra 4 and went to add two new drives to the two I already have. Log messages appeared and stated "Unsuccessful mounting ftp share homes-snap" and "Found free space to expand the volume onto, but expansion cannot occur with an active snapshot. Please disable the snapshot at your convenience, then either reboot the system or reinsert the drive to begin expansion".
I do not have a snap tab to disable. I have disabled the Online File System Consistency Check under the volume maintenance tab. I also disabled the Disk Scrubbing with Auto Parity Fix. I have no backups setup.
I am running the NAS as RAID Level X-RAID2, 2 disks, Status: Redundant.
I have done a bit of reading regarding this issue but have not found out how to sort this out. Is there a way to fix this without doing a data backup and reset?
Thanks for any help. Have a good one.

- de_niroGuideyou must disable active snapshot before expansion depite there is no such things on the Frontview.
You will need to install SSH addon to check and remove snapshot
example
#lvdisplay
--- Logical volume ---
LV Name /dev/c/c_2014_01_14_00_54 <====if you see the LVM snapshot, then delete it
VG Name c
***********
***********
#umount /c_2014_01_14_00_54
#lvremove /dev/c/c_2014_01_14_00_54
Do you really want to remove active logical volume "c_2014_01_14_00_54"? [y/n]: y
Logical volume "c_2014_01_14_00_54" successfully removed
