Help connectingt to USB drive or Network Folder via SSH
Hello. I have a Readynas 516. After a botched upgrade it will not boot to 100%. Instead I'm stuck at 99% while it loads nmb.service.
I am attempting to login to the mostly functional ReadyNas which is still connected to the network. My hope is to Rsync the data out of the /data folder and onto either an external USB drive -or- onto another NAS to create a backup.
Unfortunately, my Linux skills are weak, and I am unable to figure out how to do this via an SSH connection. Can anyone share an idiot's guide to the commands needed to either mount the USB (which is plugged in) or the syntax to connect to a Network drive/folder?
Thanks in advance.
Kyle

Something like this should work
# rsync -a local_path username@remote_host:/remote_path
