Problems with sharing files from IP-camera to ReadyNas 102
Hello,
I have an Eminent EM6260 IP camera. I use the camera also for storage camera-images on my Netgear NAS 102.
I can connect the NAS. From the settings I can access the NAS by using button 'info NAS' and can see the free space on the NAS (shares). So far so good….
The structure of the shares is \\readynasos\data\Data\Camerabeelden, but that do not work. Also tried a few other variants like: \\readynasos\data\Data\Camerabeelden. Maybe the EM6260 camera does not have the rights to write on the NAS?
My knowledge of the NAS is minimal. I use the NAS simple as backup medium and for streaming movies to my media player. I have, of course, make some clicks in the NAS settings, but can't find a solution to share/copy the images.
Hopefully someone can help me/give me advice
Excuse my ‘bad’ English
Kind regard, George (from Holland)

Can you confirm that the camera is using SMB (windows file sharing)? Often they use FTP or sometimes NFS.

Normally the data volume is named "Data".
If you have a share named "Data" you should rename it to something else using the web UI. You can run into some odd problems if you have a share with the same name as the data volume.
I also suggest creating a share named Camerabeelden (again with the web UI). If you do that, the correct access with SMB \\readynasos\Camerabeelden
Thank you very much for your quick reply....
I don't no the answer on the first question. I have asked on the Eminent-forum. You here as soon as possible....

Hello,
Sorry for late reply...
The camera is using FTP. I have change that. See attachement
I have change the share-name Data into Kopie-dataas you suggest.
I have tried the following combinations, but... is still doesn’t still works :smileysad:
- FTP \\readynasos\Camerabeelden (sure there is a space between FTP and \\?
- \\readynasos\Camerabeelden
- \\readynasos\data\Camerabeelden
