Purchase a new PSU for RND4000
I turned off my RND4000 last night. I went to turn it on and it popped and is now dead.
I previously got a replacement PSU from Netgear about 3 years ago and wanted to know if it was still possible to buy one (Yes, I know it's old). I can't raise a support ticket as complimentary support has long since expired.
Does anyone know if it's possible to buy parts or perhaps (as a last resort) work out some other kind of replacement?

StephenB is confusing the NV+ and Pro6 suppplies. You can rig up an ATX supply ot work with either externally, but doing so with the NV+ requires an adapter cable to swap out some pins while the Pro6 can be directly connected. The Seasonic supply he mentions is for the legacy 6-bay units, not 4-bay,
Some Flex ATX supplies can be adapted to fit internal to the NV+. It takes some swapping of output pins and dealing with the cooling air flow.

Netgear doesn't sell them (and likely have no inventory left, as the NV+ v1 became end-of-life in 2011). You could try googling for a replacement - there are likely a couple still being sold here and there.
It also is possible to purchase an SFX supply and modify the pinout to connect to the NAS. If you have an ATX supply you can jury-rig a connection (though the supply won't fit into the chassis). That would let you offload any data on the NAS.
As far as off-the-shelf SFX replacements go, the advice in the past was to get a Seasonic SS-300SFD. They are also getting hard to find.
