- platini76AspirantI found this: http://www.readpixel.com/wakeonlan/
it have also a good dashboard widget!! very very good for me.
what about sleep on lan?? is there a way to make it work??
thanks! - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserThere is no "sleep on lan" magic packet, and also no "sleep" command in Frontview. You'd have to shut the pro down.

this post suggest that is possible.. and I have also adapted as an applesript but it don't work... (as for me don't work WOL applescript)on process(nas)
do shell script "curl -u admin:password -k -d command=poweroff -d shutdown_option=1 -d OPERATION=set -d PAGE=System -d OUTER_TAB=tab_shutdown -d INNER_TAB=none https://192.168.0.100/get_handler"
end process
also here someone say that this is possible...
viewtopic.php?f=35&t=17718 - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserAs I said, you'd have to shut the pro down, as you can't put it to sleep. It is possible to construct a curl script to do that (as your links suggest), or you can simply use frontview.
- platini76AspirantYes I want to shout down it.
but without going on a internet page, I want something like a button, or better a widget .
if the only mode is to create a script I can create an applescript (with someone help me correct error) and use it as a icon.
someone can help me about this script? - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserI don't know about applescript, usually this is done with curl.
- platini76Aspirantbut curl must be installed or is pre installed in mountain lion? someone can help me?
- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserI'm not a mac user, but I believe it is built in.
https://developer.apple.com/library/mac ... url.1.html - platini76Aspirantyou confirm me what i have searched.... but my script written above don't stop my nas... why?
