ReadyNAS 102 Factory Reset not accepting 'Password'
Hadn't been using my ReadyNAS 102 for a while (18 months) and couldn't find the correct username/password to set it up again (Mac Keychain versions were incorrect for some reason) so tried a reset, OS first and then a factory reset. The NAS refuses to recognise the standard 'admin'/'password' login details in either computer connection or through Raidar.
Is there any way round this? I've now tried factory rests a few times but there's no difference.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Are you certain this is an RN102? (I ask because you selected the RND2110 Duo as your model, which is a very different platform). The Duo uses netgear1 as the default password.
Assuming it is an RN102 - the most likely cause is that the factory reset didn't "take". Did you use the procedure in the hardware manual? It's on pages 20-21 here: http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/READYNAS-100/ReadyNAS_%20OS6_Desktop_HM_EN.pdf
The boot menu options for the old Duo are different btw.

Thanks for that.
Yes it is a 102 and about an hour after posting I managed to stumble on on the 'netgear1' password requirement. This was the problem rather than a failure in the reset. Even so, I thoroughly appreciate the effort you've gone to.
As for the RND 2110, that was selected in error. Sorry for any confusion.
Cheers

That means you actually don't have an RN102. Only legacy NAS running 4.1.x and 4.2.x firmware use netgear1 as their default admin password. OS 6 systems like the RN102 use password. Can you post a screenshot of the home page in the web admin UI?
