ReadyNAS 2304 AV hasn't updated in months
Is it because my NAS is EOL? And if so, can I stop it from checking for updates every 3 minutes?
If this isn't the reason and I can still get updates, is there something else I can do?
I did see an article about using SSH. Is that still effective?

what firmware are you running?

6.10.1
Disabled AV for now.
Will reboot appliance this evening when my last end user leaves (around 8PM EST).
Will reenable it then and report back.

There's several AV fixes you are missing in 6.10.5 and 6.10.6, and 6.10.8
- ClamAV fails to update database.
- Antivirus ClamAV is upgraded to version 0.103.2+dfsg.
- Updates anti-virus ClamAV to v0.103.7
If you've installed apps, or have uploaded packages to the NAS web ui, then I recommend upgrading to 6.10.9
If you haven't done that, then I suggest upgrading to 6.10.10
