ReadyNAS Constantly Crashing
Hi,
I have never used a ReadyNAS before, inherited with a new client. Far from impressed. Undated the firmware to 6.8.0 and it is now unusable. As soon as you try and delete a file, the whole system locks up and takes hours to respond again. I cannot get onto any file shares and the admin page just says "Connecting to the ReadyNAS Admin Page..." and finally times out saying "this error message means that your browser can't access your ReadyNAS storage system". Hours later it will come back. I can just about manage to get to the ssh option to enable it, but when I ssh to it again it locks up. I am assuming it was OK on the previous firmware as it was working OK. Again I cannot downgrade it as it simply locks up.
Any advice please?
Thanks
Dave

What firmware were you running before?
Also, are you using any apps?

It says "No Installed Applications"
Not sure but I ran the auto update - now on 6.8.0
I think it is to do with the MTU - currently on 1600, very very slow (10 mins to delete a 1mb file) but at least it is accessible
